Gru Meme Highlights the YouTube Ad Strategy and User Response - Memes on Aviaclip

This meme utilizes the classic Gru presentation format to comment on the cycle of YouTube's advertising strategy. It depicts the platform increasing ad frequency, which leads to user frustration, followed by the introduction of a paid subscription service to remove those ads. The final panels show the unintended consequence of this strategy: users turning to alternative browsers like Brave to block advertisements for free, leaving the platform in a position where their own tactics have driven users toward ad-blocking solutions.

YouTube premium is the only subscription service I think is 100% worth it. I listen to so much YouTube on my phone, laptop, etc it’s completely worth it to me to pay to not have hassle. The other big thing you get is YouTube music which is just Spotify with a better algorithm. So

Fuck off with that stupid named chromium trash ad. If adding uBlock Origin to Firefox is too much for you, then you should really not use the internet at all.

Not just YouTube, even X and 9gag work best on this mobile browser

Every time I see someone complain about ads i recall that bit from Ready Player One where the corporate researcher is reporting that they have determined they can cover 86% of the display area with ads before inducing seizures in players.
