Retailers Reconsider Self-Checkout Systems Amid Rising Theft Concerns
A social media post highlights the growing trend of retailers pulling back from self-checkout kiosks due to persistent issues with theft. The discussion is framed by a humorous remark from a user who jokingly claims they were never properly trained to use the equipment, leading them to scan expensive items like a gaming console as a cheap piece of produce. The image features a shopper at a self-checkout station, illustrating the current retail environment where automated systems are increasingly under scrutiny for their vulnerability to loss and misuse.

Carrefour / Kaufland in Poland - app / hand scanner, take what you need, fast self checkout.
In the balkans the selfcheckout is meant to be fast. So there is a limit off 20€ per slip.
The worst is my walmart has lets say 10 machines, the turn on 3, because there is only one person to watch them. So you are waiting in a long line for nothing, it's such bullshit.
Remember folks. To be an asshole country is your choice. All of you could live in a nice safe trusting enviorment but noo. Dylan Carter and likes of him decided they want to be dicks
