Didn't like seeing the ..yano what no spoilers ..it may not be for everyone, but, it is a good series. There's also the cowboy one (The magnificent seven)..don't remember which came first tho, the cowboy one or the samurai one..but it went one, the other then the anime. ...either
Also, Toshiro Mifune (2nd from the left, amazing actor btw) was Lucas' first choice for Obi Wan Kenobi. He rejected the role, tho, because "SF is such a niche genre, and the movie will flop no doubt" :D
More like 1 samurai, 5 ronin and 1 rando, still the best movie ever.

For the Americans out there, any similarity between this and The Magnificent 7, was orchestrated. The Magnificent 7 is literally an adaptation/remake of Kurosawa's masterpiece!
