The First Day of School After a Summer of Gaming

This humorous clip uses a meme format to depict a student's supposed state of mind on the first day of school. The video features a character from the 1985 film 'The Goonies' superimposed into a classroom setting. The text overlay jokes that the student is struggling to adjust to the academic environment because they spent their entire summer break playing the video game Fortnite. The visual gag plays on the idea of 'brain rot' or academic regression following long periods of intense gaming.

this reminds me of back when my brother tried to map out the entire school hallway using markers because he was convinced it was a layout for a map pack. he definitely got a week of detention for that stunt but he still swears the geometry was accurate.

everyone in these comments is acting like the kid is ruined because he enjoyed his free time. let the boy play his games before he spends the next fifty years rotting in an office.

Fortnite kids are probably ahead of the curve in reality. At least theyre somewhat using their brains and hand eye coordination instead of doom scrolling 24/7 like most kids

Diablo 2 multiplayer was the reason why GPA went from 3.8 to 2.5 in middle school. My parents would physically disconnect the phone like so I couldn’t get online but in the middle of the night I’d sneak downstairs to reconnect it and play.
