A Dark Twist on the Classic E.T. Healing Scene
This four-panel comic by Dave Contra offers a humorous and slightly unsettling reimagining of the iconic healing scene from the film E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. In the original movie, the alien uses his glowing finger to heal a boy's scraped knee. In this parody, the alien approaches the injured child and uses his glowing touch to heal the wound, but the final panel reveals that the alien has simply transferred the injury to his own finger, leaving the boy confused and the alien looking regretful as he hides his now-injured hand behind his back.

E.T. really went from phone home to bone home real quick.
I guess he really wanted to get straight to the point with that one π½
That took a turn I definitely wasn't expecting lol
I feel like this is exactly what would actually happen π
I feel like this is exactly how it would go down in real life π
That took a turn I definitely wasn't ready for lol
Is it still considered healing if he leaves you feeling way more cursed than before? π
