A Supernatural Encounter in a Taxi Takes an Unexpected Turn
This short manga comic by Kousuke Oono, titled 'The Taxi,' depicts a classic horror trope that subverts expectations. A taxi driver picks up a mysterious, ghost-like passenger on a dark road. As the driver attempts to confirm her destination, he realizes she is not from this world. However, the tension is immediately broken when the driver reveals that he is also a supernatural entity. The comic concludes with an awkward silence between the two spectral beings, followed by a sudden, humorous transition to an image of a potato and onion omelette, highlighting the absurdity of the situation.
That twist had me dying, definitely didn't see that coming!
I love how they just casually vibe like coworkers at the end
That ending caught me so off guard, honestly hilarious
Is it just me, or is the ghost actually the most relatable character here? 😂
I love how quickly this went from creepy to just two coworkers chatting. Hilarious.
I love how they just had a casual professional chat instead of scaring each other lol
Guess that ride was a real scream for both of them 👻
That twist was honestly hilarious, didn't see that coming at all 👻
Literally me when I have to deal with coworkers during a night shift 💀
That twist had me dying, definitely didn't see that coming lol
