in vanilla it was also cool if you try to run out of the dungeon to avoid death and the mobs didnt reset - if i remember correct it was called a train.

I start mining a rare node, nearby high level mob attacks me, random player. tries to steal my node, I feign death FTW, .... now he may deal with that mob, while I mine in peace right fucking next to him. =)
