The Frustration of Fragile Government Identification
This meme highlights the common frustration surrounding the physical nature of United States Social Security cards. Unlike modern, durable identification cards used in many other parts of the world, the traditional Social Security card is printed on thin, paper-like material that is highly susceptible to wear and tear. The image features a worn, frayed card, emphasizing the irony that such a vital, lifelong document is issued in a format that is easily damaged and officially discouraged from being laminated, leaving citizens to struggle with keeping their essential identification intact over several decades.

same in my country, only I laminated mine and I don't give a flying fuck if the government likes it or not... having that for 10+ years now, no replacement needed since then...

Civilized countries not only make it out if plastic, but you can renew it when needed.
I have my ID and everything government issued in my phone. I have the standard sized plastic cards too for backup but I haven't used them in a long time since I just use the QR code from my phone to verify my identity. Where is this from, Bangladesh?
