What a great song!
This is about that dude that could’ve saved someone from drowning but didn’t.
Phil is an amazing drummer. Because part of the show he is purely singing there is a second drummer. But parts of the show he was doing the drums parts on his own. The majority of genesis records he was the drummer.
Sales man if the year
Phil Collins could’ve totally been an insurance salesman.
It’s not impressive when there’s a whole other drummer and drum set playing also
Is it just me or is his singing and drums play not synced with the audio? Why is there a second drummer playing at the same time as him if that solo intro only required one?

For me this is more punk than everyone in rock. Dresses like a 40yo divorced guy, makes songs about his divorce for 2 decades, takes a teleoperator helmet and goes to work with dozens of thousands of people at each concert. The guy is a middle finger to rockers who thought tattoo
Man, he looks like a middle aged programmer with lenses or a bus driver. But fuck, easy top 10 singer of all time.....my god.....
