A Humorous Take on Perspective and Visual Comparison
This meme highlights the fallibility of relying solely on visual perspective to determine the size of objects. The top panel features a post from the 'Flat Earth Society' claiming the sun and moon are the same size because they appear identical in the sky. The bottom panel provides a satirical rebuttal from a user named Xavier, who uses a forced perspective photo of a donut held close to the camera to make it appear the same size as a parked car in the background. The comparison serves as a humorous illustration of how distance and perspective can create misleading visual evidence.

to be fair, it is pretty fucky that the sun and moon appear exactly the same size, like what are the fucking odds
I got to tell you something about my d..ck size …
Yall arent ready for my conspiracy theory about the "flat earth society"
Showing evidence to an evidence denier is like showing pictures to a blind person or playing an audio tape to a deaf person. If they valued evidence at all, they wouldn't be flat earthers
Hold on guys, will post another photo as well soon
You all be like "haha flat earthers dumb", and that may be so, but almost nobody thinks deeper, ever, as designed. Like, why does this "conspiracy theory" even exist? Because dumb? Well it was always a factor, wasn't it? Yet, even in the middle ages actually it wasn't some kind o
Most flat earth's are trolls, I believe. But there's certainly some absolute morons out there too.
It is quite an amazing temporal coincidence that they appear the same size from our point of view, and I doubt we appreciate it enough.
That’s a big-ass doughnut
The problem is, when you explain the sun is actually 400 times larger, but is also 400 times farther away, they always say "well isn't that just a perfect coincidence!!!" And dismiss it as so I likely it can't be true.
