Customer Challenges Uber Support to Prove Humanity with a 'Potato' Test - Funny on Aviaclip

A frustrated user on X (formerly Twitter) attempted to verify if they were interacting with a human or an automated system by asking the official Uber Support account to say the word "potato." The support account responded with a standard, formal message denying a refund request, completely ignoring the user's specific prompt. The interaction highlights growing public skepticism regarding the use of AI and scripted responses in customer service, as users increasingly feel that automated systems fail to address individual concerns or engage in genuine human communication.

Speaking to AI is terrible, but with the right prompt you might get some decent result or have a chance to be forwarded to a person that speak english and has more than 5 functional braincells. Its an upgrade compared to a copy-paste callcenter in india.

Even if it wasn't an AI, service people in callcenters are reduced to already existing words blocks. We called them cherry-picks. They are all designed in a way that you take four or five of them (categories 1-5) and just add them up. Like 1a + 2f + 3m + 4c and you get a reply. A
