Visual Comparison Reveals Captain Marvel's Hair Was Digitally Added in Post-Production
A side-by-side comparison highlights the extensive use of computer-generated imagery in modern superhero films. The image shows the character Captain Marvel, played by Brie Larson, in a 'before' state where she is wearing a bald cap under her costume, contrasted with the 'after' version where her signature blonde hair has been digitally rendered. This visual breakdown illustrates how production teams often rely on CGI to achieve specific aesthetic effects, such as simulating weightlessness in space or altering character appearances, rather than relying solely on practical effects or the actor's natural look during filming.

she's ugly
I was supposed to shoot her for a magazine cover. Her team had so many requests before the shoot I simply walked away. Told them to find someone else. Later I found out the shoot never took place. Wonder why…
And people fear the rise of AI in movies. We're basically already there.
Why are people still watching super hero movies?
The reason is pretty simple to explain. She was in space and hair was to be weightless, floating like she was underwater. For scenes on Earth, they didnt do this.
She's so limited with face expressions generally they could easily cgi that too, i mean her complete face. All the other cgi characters like Rocket, Groot, Thanos have more facial play than her.
It makes me wonder how these people even have careers; CGI hair aside, she's a terrible actor.
I find it funny how people refuse to watch anime "because it's not real" and then go watch a movie where 99% of the shit is cgi
They only did CG hair for scenes where she’s in space. It’s quite difficult to recreate 0 gravity in a studio on the planets surface…
Why didn't they also CGI more than one facial expression?
