A Satirical Take on the Future of AI Dependency and Coding Skills - Memes on Aviaclip

This meme features a screenshot of a post by the account DROID, which presents a cynical hypothetical scenario regarding the future of artificial intelligence. The text outlines a three-step strategy: first, drastically reducing AI service prices to encourage widespread adoption, then waiting for users to lose their traditional coding skills, and finally, increasing prices by 1000% once dependency is established. The post is accompanied by an image of Ed Harris as Christof from the film 'The Truman Show,' capturing a contemplative expression often used in memes to depict a mastermind orchestrating a grand plan. The content reflects ongoing public debates about the long-term impact of AI tools on professional skill sets and the potential for corporate monopolization.

That was the plan but the Chinese said no by releasing open weight models that are almost just as good, definitely good enough for most current use cases. So the EU can self host those models now and the US bubble will probably burst. I guess we can thank them for that.

Dont worry, the american government will bail those AI companies out. Thanks for your contribution to the cause, american taxpayer!

You might reconsider your text as a 100% increase of a price after a 90% decrease only brings you to 20% of the original price.

Good luck. China releases models that are 10% the cost and can be run on AWS. Local models are becoming more and more viable for development. The only thing they'll be able to charge for is the harness and that can be replicated by anyone.

Real developers build their own coding AI on local HW. Because fuck services

If you reduce by 90% and then increase by 1000%, that's only a 10% increase

That's their plan. If you didn't get it at this point then you're not the sharpest tool in the shed. It's how Spotify, Uber, Wolt/Doordash came to be. A business model that requires vast investments upfront, isn't possible to easily scale from the ground up, backed massively by V

the chatgpt guy literally said that is his plan, to make people dependant on AI
