A satirical take on the 'skills vs. degree' debate

Thats real life, if you dont get a degree, life will be more challenging most of the times.

Most degrees are designed to weed out undesirables, they rarely give you the true skills needed for the job you get with the degree beyond surface level knowledge......most, not all.

i'm amazed by how strong the country of usa is saying degrees do not help now, go back to manual labour, like the peasant you are, we got ai for the rest of the jobs and youmust be able to somehow buy out bullshitificated shit

What are your problems with degrees? I see such posts more frequent lately. Since when do we have an issue with education?

I don't like it when people think they are superior if they have a degree but I also despise people who automatically think highly educated people have zero practical skills.

said "skill" is usually just being obnoxiously confident with zero basis
