This is good training. In most battles there will be 2,3,4 or even 5 guys trying to get you, even if the fight is just against 1.

That's actually a pretty decent exercise if the purpose of the sparring is to demonstrate that fancy karate moves don't work too well when you're up against a group of people. Best option is to retreat
