Gal Gadot Confirms Departure from Wonder Woman Franchise

Actress Gal Gadot has confirmed that she will not be returning to the role of Wonder Woman in the future of the DC Universe. In 2022, James Gunn and Peter Safran were appointed as co-CEOs of DC Studios, tasked with overseeing a comprehensive reboot and restructuring of the DC cinematic landscape. As part of this strategic shift, plans for a third 'Wonder Woman' film under the previous creative direction were scrapped. While Gadot had previously expressed optimism about developing a third installment, the studio's new direction ultimately moved away from the existing iteration of the character.
