Gymnast Performs Impressive Routine in a Rhönrad

A gymnast demonstrates high-level coordination and strength while performing a routine inside a Rhönrad, also known as a German wheel. The apparatus consists of two large circular hoops connected by crossbars, allowing the athlete to rotate, spin, and perform acrobatic maneuvers while suspended within the frame. The video captures the gymnast executing fluid movements, including a full split while the wheel is in motion, showcasing the technical skill required for this specialized gymnastic discipline.

I can imagine wide range of injuries this device can cause...

Fun fact: It was introduced at the olympic games 1936 in Berlin, and is therefore called "german wheel". It never really became popular outside of germany because of the nazi image.
