The Difference Between Mom and Dad When Dealing With a Loose Tooth

The Difference Between Mom and Dad When Dealing With a Loose Tooth - Memes on Aviaclip

This meme humorously contrasts the parenting styles of mothers and fathers when a child has a loose tooth. While the mother advises patience and letting the tooth fall out naturally, the father is depicted as taking a more direct and forceful approach. The visual uses a scene from the Marvel Cinematic Universe where Thanos forcibly removes the Mind Stone from Vision's forehead, serving as a hyperbolic metaphor for a father's tendency to intervene and pull out a loose tooth immediately rather than waiting for it to come out on its own.

I hated the wiggling of loose teeth, couldn’t stop messing with them, so I usually ripped those suckers out as soon as I could. My pain tolerance is not great, but when it came to self inflicted shit like that I never had any issues.

Tooth fairy brought me 1 mk per tooth (Finnish mark) if they fell out on their own. 2 mk if dad got to pull it out.

When I was little, my mom convinced me to let her see the tooth and she pulled it out. Since that happened I basically pulled my own teeth just so I don't have to let her near when I got a loose one.

Used to work with an old hard-core alcoholic. He showed up one day and it looked like he had a grapefruit in his mouth. The night before he had gotten drunk, and pulled an abscessed tooth with channel-locks. We convinced him to go to the ER.

Pull your kids teeth, really. When I was a kid I didn't even dare to wiggle my teeth because I found it extremely disgusting. My parents werent consequent enough to just pull them bc I fought back. Result was that my adult teeth grew out even tho my baby teeth were still in the w

Dad may be on to something. If it falls out naturally during eating, sharp parts could cause damage to your intestines. The blood during removal is just a bonus.

Story time: I was a kid (around 5-6), I went to our relatives in a distant town with my parents for 3-4 days. I was very excited as those relatives had a Sweet Shop/ Candy shop and a bakery. We were on the way when one of my teeth suddenly decided to hang with a thread like tissu
