Not an insult but some sort of compliment, I guess. 2 people were talking about me in in rehab facility and I overheard them by accident. They said he may be on some sort of spectrum but don't rule him out, he's smarter then everyone may believe he is.

It wasn’t an insult, it was feedback on your performance. He tried to make you see you could accomplish or learn more if you wanted to. To make yourself better than just the lowest bar that you can find. But here he is, 3 decades later and still not understanding.

Well, it may depend on how well you finish your work. because if something you do is well enough, teacher will not busy themself asking you a thing. Because if you did actually always get the job done quite well, you actually make their job easier.

I went from pre-k to 12th grade and never got in trouble once. Except in 3rd grade, I was written up and sent to the principals office constantly and I have no idea why. I was the only white kid is my best guess. Couldn't do anything right in that class. Fuck that teacher.

Group roast: at the end of the course, the teacher was giving each of us a bit of a critique. She said to me, "You think you're good just because you're better than the rest..."
