Actually happened to me. Didn't hear back for weeks from the recruiter. So i looked at our email chain for anyone else who was CC'd, and sent them an email. As it turned out, the recruiter was laid off and either didnt or couldnt forward my application to someone else. Anyway got

lol. A classic blunder. They fired her before asking for the recruiting info she was holding on to.

Recruiter are the worst. Fake positions, fake postings to get data to try to "sell" you to another company that not nearly offers the benefits they were promising. I wasted too much time with bad recruiters, like HR they are truly the scum of this work world
