$7 *AND* everyone is figuring out they are slow-acting poison and the officials who are supposed to protect the health of the people are the same people selling this toxic CorpSlop.

Personally, I just got older and realize that I don't want to spend my later years hating myself. Don't want to spend my 50s with busted knees, let alone my 60 and 70s unable to do mundane things. Binge eating a 10$ bag of Doritos is cool, being able to go up 3 flights of stairs

As someone who loves chocolate, I'll let you know why. prices. A Lion used to be about 0.4 euros 3 years ago, now it's almost 0.8 euro. Literally almost double the price in 3 years. Same for most snacks. Very few were not affected and I dunno how they can do it without enshittify

When I was 18, I moved out on my own, and it didn't take long before I realized that many premium brands are often no better than the cheap store brands. Especially now that inflation and shrinkflation are skyrocketing here in the Netherlands, there is a sort of 'supermarket war'

Cost is a good part of it but also there is a growing amount of worthwhile human beings who are steering away from junk in general and eating better. All fast food and bag snacks are beyond horrible for you
