apperantly to calm a kitten you need to provide a safe, confined space with hiding spots, food, water and litter box. And must not force interaction like the moron doing in the video. let it aproach you instead.

Don't do that shit with kittens. It didn't relax, it just accepted it's death. Bait it with food if you're planning to keep it. This one is too small, don't take it away from their mother till 2-3rd month if the mother is still an option.

I read somewhere when they are scared and simply freeze, it's them just accepting they can't defend themselves and just wait for getting k*lled by the predator.

I‘d be scared, too. Because judging by the sound its mother is skinned alive in the background.
