Theft is a calculated acceptable loss when they of introduced the self checkout. That's why i always forget to scan something believable.
If people are stupid enough to pay it, why not ask for it? I’m sure it’s only like 1 in 100 people or something, but still they’re probably making pretty decent free money that they lovingly refer to as a “stupid tax”
