Visualizing the Impact of AI on Corporate Workforce Structures
This illustration contrasts a traditional corporate office structure with a hypothetical post-AI workplace. The 'Pre-AI' side depicts four floors fully staffed with human employees across leadership, management, skilled worker, and new hire roles. The 'Post-AI' side shows a significant reduction in human staff, with many positions replaced by AI icons. The graphic suggests a trend where automation increasingly displaces entry-level and skilled roles while maintaining a smaller human presence at the leadership level. It serves as a commentary on the ongoing debate regarding artificial intelligence's role in the future of employment and corporate efficiency.

I do use Claude for programming - mostly for advice, to debug code, etc. but I don't go "Hey, I want to do X, please do it for me". I wouldn't trust the result and neither would I fully understand it if I just relied on AI to do everything for me. Ironically this is what makes AI
100% of people complaining about IA now don't give a shit about low skill jobs being replaced by robots and illegal migrants.
New leadership in my company actually got rid of an entire layer of Management company-wide as they deemed it unnecessary and also removed "coordinators" and "team leaders" wherever they could. In fact, out of the 30% or so laid off, over 95% were management positions. Skilled an
Wait untill Open AI and the others start charging the REAL cost of build and operate all those datacenters. A lot of companies are gonna realize that actual workers are actually cheaper than AI.
