Is It Finally Time to Retire These Vintage Tires?
This image highlights a winter tire featuring a snowflake symbol and the distinct manufacturing stamp 'Made in Yugoslavia.' Given that the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia dissolved in the early 1990s, these tires are several decades old. The meme plays on the durability of goods produced in the former nation, questioning whether such aged rubber is still suitable for road use despite its apparent longevity. While the tread pattern remains visible, the significant age of the rubber compound raises questions about safety and performance in modern driving conditions.

They don't make 'em like they Jused to.
They aren't naked yet.... good to go for another couple of decades.
guys, the day has come. My bathroom scale made in west germany has finally given up. I ask you to join me in one minute of silence in its honor.
Guys, I think the Joke is that Yugoslavia doesn't exist since 20years. Seems some people actually need the red circles/arrows.
It's a winter tyre, so you need to keep them in the event of a nuclear winter.
I wouldn't be surprised if this tyre would still work okayish (maybe not good on ice but very good in snow). For a few years I drove 2002 Yaris with 16 year old winter tyres and they were surprisingly good, at least well enough to use just in the city.
If that's a Tigar, they'll last you a lifetime
See that little thingys? That's profile. So perfectly good to use. But be careful on slippery or wet roads, since your tire is obviously a snowflake and may not like specific conditions.
Yes if you are australian, winter is coming. Not if you are austrian. winter is not coming.
If it was made in Yugoslavia, it will serve you for a lifetime.
