The Rise of Open Source AI Clones as a Response to Industry Layoffs
This meme highlights a growing trend in the tech industry where developers, facing job displacement or hiring freezes due to AI integration, are utilizing AI tools themselves to create free, open-source alternatives to established commercial software. By replicating the functionality of major proprietary platforms, these developers aim to disrupt the business models of companies that have reduced their human workforce. The image features King Julien from the Madagascar franchise, emphasizing the retaliatory nature of this technological shift as developers seek to challenge the companies that previously marginalized them.

AI can combine and make new playable games now, putting Super Mario in dark souls and minecraft guy in skyrim etc. Gaming industry/hollywood replacing employees with clankasses are gonna feel the sting very soon.
Lots of "pros" are crapping on the open source software like Artcraft suite, because it's not complete or the tools do not perform as they should. It seems they don't remember that, the same thing was said about the initial iterations of AI. "Oh AI will never be able to generate
AI is lowering the barrier for entry to high level software writing. Seems it makes juniors more productive instead of redundant.
Actually I contributed myself a piece of open source software through AI. Clearly marked it as AI written and it has a few hundred Users which makes me really happy.
yeah if this reverse engineering thing takes off a lot of software companies will loose their business
