Can You Solve This Tricky Multiple-Choice Question?
This meme features a contestant on a game show looking visibly stressed while faced with a confusing multiple-choice question. The prompt asks, 'Which of the following has four eight and one nine?' with the options provided being A: 88889, B: 4819, C: 888819, and D: 489. The humor stems from the ambiguity of the phrasing, as the lack of punctuation and specific grammatical structure makes it unclear whether the question is asking for a specific sequence of digits or a count of numbers. Viewers are left to debate the logic behind each option, highlighting how poorly constructed questions can turn a simple task into a frustrating puzzle.

The only logic answer is D.
Anybody who chooses anything else than B should have a check...
It can't be A or C since it would read "four eights", plural. It has to be B or D, but the correct answer between them is harder to interpret. There are no commas, which we have to take into account and not assume they were forgotten. The more obvious way to read B would be "four
None of these make sense when there is no punctuation.
If you are not retarded it s A... there are no "," to separate the numbers... its read as if 'what has four 8 and one 9
No plural so B
None, the question is badly written
D, quite obviously
D. The others are; A: four eightS and one nine B: four eight one nine (without AND) C: four eightS one nine
