The Unexpected Sound of Rain
This video highlights the auditory similarity between relaxing rain sounds and the sizzling of food in a frying pan. The clip features a person lying in bed, seemingly listening to a recording of rain, while the visual overlay abruptly switches to show meat patties frying in hot oil. The juxtaposition plays on the common use of white noise in media, demonstrating how easily the two sounds can be confused when isolated from their visual context.
