Comparing Superhero Game Movement Mechanics Across Three Decades
This video compilation compares movement and environmental interaction in three different superhero-themed video games released over a 14-year span. The footage features Prototype 2 (2012), which highlights high-speed urban traversal; Infamous: Second Son (2014), showcasing explosive, power-based movement; and a look at the upcoming Marvel's Wolverine (2026), which displays a more grounded approach to character movement. The comparison highlights the evolution of game design, physics, and traversal mechanics, sparking debate among viewers regarding the shift from high-mobility, destructive gameplay to more realistic, character-focused movement styles in modern titles.

As much as I despise them this has nothing to do with them. If you dislike them pushing their agenda then complain about that, dont dilute the sentiment with your bs.
Too be fair, what were you expecting from a relatively normal human being jumping off a cliff? He has claws and super healing, plus a metal skeletal frame. At best he would displace a few loose rocks.
This is just uninspired gameplay design, not really a woke matter
You're really just reaching at this point.
*grunts harder*
Tbh.. the comparison is a little off innit? Prototype (loved that game) Infamous(loved the first game) Both had destructive powers not compared that off wolverine and jumped way higher.. Wolverine is man with forks and generative abilities. But agreed with the booooooo sweetbaby
Im the first guy to shit on SBI/Hit Detected etc But this is Gameplay. This has nothing to do with SBI or Consultant Groups. This boring piss gameplay is thanks to the Masterminds at Insoniac who “dont really care about comic books”
Prototype 1 was better
Man I enjoyed prototype 2 and 1
Ah, Prototype. Great game. I haven't had such freedom of movement in any other game I can recall, amazing feeling like in dream where you can fly. 10/10, even by modern standards (especially by modern standards).
