The clip offers a brief, technical glimpse into the trade of roofing, showcasing the specific hand tools and manual dexterity needed to perform these repairs without disturbing the surrounding tiles.

I know little about building but aren't those roof tiles a bit thin?
Many people have them in my area, but 15 years ago there was a tornado ripping through the town, and those things came like blades in the wind. Deeply embedded themselves into facades, almost beheaded one person.
now, we just have to wait for a scottish guy to fall in our trap
All the shingle ladies are gonna love this!
Fucking sped up repost from 2 days ago
When I lived with my in-laws, me and the old man used to spend a lot of time up on the fucking slate roof. Especially in winter. There was always an ice dam and we’d be up there in the middle of the night with axes chopping the ice. Builds character doing that at night at -10°
Slate shingle in Eastern Europe (it is actually asbestos):
These roofs would last about a month where I live.
In Australia you'd be able to cook a steak on those on the wrong afternoon.
we have murder sized hailstorms about once every 10 years or so, that roof wouldnt survive
