Viral Graphic Highlights Corporate Profit Increases Alongside Rising Consumer Prices - Interesting on Aviaclip

A widely shared graphic is sparking debate by listing significant profit increases for major corporations, including Chipotle, Starbucks, McDonald's, and several oil companies like Shell, Mobile, and BP. The text juxtaposes these double-digit profit growth figures with the ongoing trend of these companies raising prices for consumers. The image concludes with a bold claim, asserting that the current economic climate is driven by corporate greed rather than labor shortages or traditional inflation. The post serves as a critique of modern pricing strategies and corporate fiscal performance in the current market.

Must be you. I don't buy or shop from any of those. So, when are you going to stop buying from them?

Those are probably the corporations with amongs the lowest labour cost per revenue in their sectors. As in say a comparable lunch offer would be 16$ at mc donalds and 20$ in a full service restaurant. Reduce available labour, costs go up, since the full service restaurant already

There is inflation and there is business owners mentality - If I'm going to increase the price to adjust for inflation why shouldn't I add a little more. No one will notice. Like this ice cream I used to buy. It costed 6 bucks. Go figure what they've changed to cost 14 bucks now.

Need more competitors , so someone will take a smaller profit %, to increase total profits and market share. and chipotle prices are terrible. Qdoba is the same quality and lower prices, and costa vida is the same food at even lower prices.

Fastfood franchise owner here. My biggest cost is labour. I only hire foreigners. Locals wont work here. I spend so much time dealing with authoroties for various permita etc. Everything gets more expensive. I lose money in the bad months. Ask me anything.
