McDonald's Faces Criticism Over Multi-Billion Dollar Investment Strategy

McDonald's Faces Criticism Over Multi-Billion Dollar Investment Strategy - Memes on Aviaclip

A viral social media post highlights the disconnect between McDonald's reported $8.5 billion investment strategy and consumer sentiment regarding rising fast-food costs. The post features an image of a McDonald's sign alongside a digital menu board displaying a futuristic, robotic-themed graphic, suggesting that customers are less concerned with corporate modernization and more focused on affordability. The commentary argues that the primary reason for declining patronage is that fast-food prices have risen to match those of sit-down restaurants, leading many to feel that the value proposition of the chain has diminished significantly in the current economic climate.

Compared the price of fast food and steaks at the grocery store. Burger $7 steak $11. Been eating steak and potatoes much more often for a few months now.

first they would have to give people some reason to go to mcdonalds, but - they are no longer the cheap alternative - their portions are not large - the taste is as usual shitty, with artificial bullshit to cover it - there were never a healthy option - the venue is just boring a

And they are using AI for dynamic pricing. Aka: you pay more

The only reason anyone tolerated Mcdonalds or any fast food for that matter is because it was AFFORDABLE. If it costs more than 2 hours of work at minimum wage to afford a simple meal why not just go to an actual restaurant with actual food for the same price.
