A diy freeze kit. These are at least 30 years old. I remember using them when I was an aprentice switch over to electrical engineering later.
Just turn on a couple of taps in the house and do it fast like a normal person

Shut down the main water valve... all households have one... and replace the valve... cheap as fuu... profit
Or just install a shut off valve. You can get ones that just clamp on like that freezer. And cuts into the pipe to create a shut off point.
It wasn't necessary to replace the entire faucet. The new one is better, sure, but just replacing this was enough FYI.
