Man Develops Red Meat Allergy After Tick Bite and Starts Ostrich Farm
After contracting a tick-borne allergy to red meat, one man decided to find a creative solution rather than giving up his diet. Instead of switching to a vegan lifestyle, he began raising a flock of over 400 ostriches. Because ostriches are birds rather than mammals, their meat is not affected by the specific allergy triggered by tick bites, which typically targets alpha-gal found in mammalian products. This unique approach allows him to continue enjoying steak-like meals while navigating his medical condition.

Improvise, adapt, overcome.
We have wasp species specialised in hunting ticks isolated in the archipelago if you want the nuclear option.
he should start a gator farm while he is at it.
Why not chicken?
Thanks Bill Gates
I'd do the same.
Ostrich is very heavy in iron despite being a hulk sized chicken, it tastes nothing like chicken.
I bet ostriches are the ultimate chicken, and chicken is already pretty good
Ostrich steak tastes very similar to beef steak. It's really really good. I recommend.
Interesting that ostrich meat IS red meat, but this disease only applies to mammal meats. Didn't know that until researching this case
