Unconventional Tiling Technique Caught on Camera

A video captures a worker installing floor tiles using a highly unorthodox method. Instead of using standard tools like a notched trowel to spread mortar evenly or tile spacers to ensure consistent gaps, the individual applies large, uneven dollops of mortar directly to the subfloor and manually presses the tiles into place. The process lacks precision, resulting in irregular spacing and uneven surfaces between the tiles. This approach highlights a significant departure from professional construction standards, showcasing a DIY method that prioritizes speed and manual labor over structural integrity and aesthetic finish.

Give him some props. At least he has a job that he does. But the standards in those countries are just incredibly low. This guy has simply never been taught the right way.

They simply cant use alot of tools, because their tools would get raided and sold for the raiders to buy booze. It is what it is. At least my guy works hard for his alcoholism.
