Full gas build goes very well with melee. Gas everything around you and then hack them to pieces
Heavy gas armor + HP boost = total gas immunity (tho you still cough like a chain smoker). You can call in a gas strike / gas mines on your position and not worry about most bugs.
Does gas even hurt? I thought it just slows enemies down
Yes, Helldivers is beautifully unique in that regard. If your entire squad goes gas, you need the armour as protection from them. Same with fire and electricity. Though nobody goes gas. Or fire or electricity. Why would you?
Enemies in front of you? Oh yes, time for some gas, charge forwards! Enemies on the objective? Oh yes, time for some gas and raise that flag!
Run Heavy armor in the Gas Resist Set and Vitalty, then thee shall take no dmg from funny air
Friendly Fire isn't.
To be fair gasing yourself to complete an objective overwhelmed with enemies is a very solid strategy, enabled by that armour only but yes i think there should be some bug strains doing gas attacks at least.
